QUEEN VICTORIA 4* GUEST ACCOMMODATION

 

Introduction

 

The Queen Victoria offers 6 guest rooms all fully en-suite.

 

There is level access to all ground level public rooms but regrettably there is a flight of 13 easy tread stairs to climb to the lowest level bedrooms.

 

The Queen Victoria is situated close to Blackpool’s famous Pleasure Beach, the South Pier, Promenade, Sea and Trams.  The town centre is a bus or tram ride away, where you can visit the Tower, Winter Gardens, Theatres and the Central and North Piers.

 

Pre-Arrival

 

·        Enquiries and bookings can be made by phone, fax, e-mail, through Late Rooms.com: our website also features online booking.

 

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

 

·        We have an enviable 6 space car parking facility. We can park up to 4 medium/large sized cars on the front car park and two medium/small cars in the rear car park.  The parking areas are watched over by infra-red cameras and recording is 24 hours a day. 

 

·        Help with luggage is always available from your car to your bedroom.

 

·        Station Road has a virtually flat tarmac surfaced road and car park at the front, and a block paved rear car park.

 

·        The phone number is displayed on the outside of the property should you require assistance, a bell push is outside the bar for emergency use.

 

Main Entrance & Reception

 

·        There are 3 steps up to the front door which are easily accessed. Level access throughout the ground floor.

 

·        The entrance and all other public areas are well lit and the door and frame are in brilliant white PVC.

 

Public Areas – General (Internal)

 

·        Due to the age, character and layout of the building we are unable to provide lift facilities, stairs must be climbed to all bedrooms ranging from 17 – 35 stairs.

 

·        All the building is carpeted throughout; all the en-suite bathrooms have a cushion floor vinyl.

 

·        Although the ground floor is level throughout, the 1st and 2nd floors have varying levels within them.

 

 

 

Dining Room & Lounge Bar

 

·        Fairly spacious level dining room and a separate lounge bar.

 

·        The entire building is non smoking throughout.

 

Laundry

 

·        Available locally (charges apply)

 

Shop

 

·        There are 2 convenience shops within 100 metres from the Queen Victoria.  Others variable distance, including cafes and restaurants etc.

Bedrooms

 

·        All bedrooms are situated on the 1st and 2nd floors.

 

·        We have an automatic L2 fire alarm system in place.

 

·        There are tea and coffee facilities in each bedroom with either cordless kettles, or one cup water boilers.

 

·        Alarm clock radios and bedside lighting.

 

·        Flat screen TV’s with Freeview.

 

En-Suite Bathrooms

 

·        All bedrooms are en-suite featuring shower, WC and wash hand basin, 5 bathrooms with level entry from bedroom.  The Bathroom in Room 2 has been levelled with a raised entry. Bathroom in 3 has a raised platform with the WC and hand wash basin.

 

·        Bathrooms in 5 and 7 have power assisted showers; room 6 has an electric shower. Remaining rooms 2, 3 and 4 showers are fed from the hot water system.
